Sprint

Sprint operates a nationwide network with CDMA technology in the PCS (1900 MHz) band, in addition to a nationwide iDEN network acquired during Sprint's merger with Nextel in August 2005. Sprint also offers high-speed EVDO Revison A data technology in most areas. Sprint is also planning a gradual transition of its iDEN network to CDMA technology, while also building a separate WiMAX data network offering faster speeds than EVDO Rev. A.
