What is USB-C?
USB-C, also known as Type-C, is a completely new connector developed by the USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF) to replace the confusing variety of older USB types, including USB-A, USB-B and USB Mini-B. It is quickly becoming the new standard with the fastest possible charging, data, and display connectivity.

Universal Appeal
USB-C is a new all-in-one USB specification and connector type that will eliminate the hassle of using multiple cables for different devices. It is a game-changer that will allow you to use one cable for all of your devices, from smartphones, tablets, laptops, and digital cameras to monitors and televisions.

USB-C is Easier to Use
The new USB-C connector has a size and shape that is easier to use than previous USB types. The reversible design lets you plug in your device in any direction, so you never have to worry about plugging in your USB cable upside down over and over again. The new USB-C port, which is smaller than its predecessors, is key to allowing manufacturers to create devices that will be thinner and lighter than ever before.

Incredible Performance
USB-C can transfer data at up to 10 Gbps (gigabits per second). That's up to 20 times faster than USB 2.0! You can move an entire high definition feature-length movie in just 30 seconds. The incredible sync speed also allows a 4K Ultra HD experience: USB-C cables can deliver Ultra-HD 4K video resolution to USB-C and HDMI displays. That's 4 times the resolution of standard high definition!

Quality Matters
Unlike other cable brands, Naztech has total control of the cable manufacturing process, from design through production. Our cables are the safest and most reliable on the market, undergoing rigorous third-party lab testing to meet the highest quality standards.

Naztech Cables are USB-IF Certified
USB Compliance means that the cable has been certified by USB-IF to meet all electrical, mechanical, and environmental standards for an optimal user experience. USB-IF is a non-profit organization made up of companies that facilitate the development of high quality USB products and compliance testing. Purchasing a USB-IF certified USB-C cable will ensure that your devices and cables work together seamlessly, and safely.

Are Your Devices At Risk?
If you use an uncertified or counterfeit USB-C cable or accessory, you could experience these issues:
  • Your device could become damaged
  • You might not be able to sync or charge your USB device properly
  • The cable might be easily damaged
  • The connector end may snap off, weaken, or might not fit properly into your device, which could damage the port
What is USB-C Power Delivery or USB-C PD?
USB-C Power Delivery (PD) is a charging protocol that enables safe, faster charging for a growing range of compatible devices from high-powered laptops, and monitors, to smartphones and tablets. It was created to standardize charging across all future USB devices, reducing the need to have a different charger for each device and eliminating the need for clunky power bricks.

Intelligent Output
USB-C PD chargers are engineered with a specialized PD chipset that can support high voltage power and dynamically adjust the voltage output delivered during the battery charging cycle for fastest and most efficient charging experience.

USB Power Delivery is a fast charging technology that delivers much higher levels of power than standard charging.

Super Speed Performance
USB-C PD can power up compatible smartphones like the new iPhone Xs and Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ from 0 to 50% in just 30 minutes! This means you can spend less time plugged in and waiting for a power boost in the middle of your day.

What Kind of PD Charger Do I Need?
Choose a PD wall charger that can deliver enough power (measured in watts) to Fast Charge your chosen device. A 45-watt wall charger will charge all your USB-PD-enabled devices, but if you are only looking to charge an iPhone X, which only accepts 18-watts of power, your 45-watt charger will only deliver 18-watts. Unless you have other USB-PD-enabled devices which could benefit from a charger that delivers higher wattage such as an iPad or MacBook a less expensive, lower wattage charger might be a better choice.
